Reiki is a mysterious / miraculous, ethereal, transcendental and sacred energy of the Universe.

Reiki is the name used by Mikao Usui Sensei (August 15,1865 - March 9, 1926) with the energy of the universe. Kai means group, Komyo Reiki Kai is a Japanese Reiki school, founded by Rev. Hyakuten Inamoto, an independent Buddhist monk from the “Pure Land” (one of the branches of Buddhism, such as Zen Buddhism, etc.)

After learning the discipline from his teacher Chiyoko Yamaguchi Sensei, Inamoto Sensei began a constant and meticulous research work in order to reveal those truths of Reiki unknown to most.

Thanks to his friendship with members of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, the school founded by Usui Sensei, Hyakuten Sensei was able to come into contact with the purest style of Reiki, without the obligation of confidentiality imposed on the members of the Gakkai.

His is an invaluable contribution to the spread of traditional Japanese Reiki in the world, in accordance with the wishes of Usui Sensei. The Komyo Reiki School emphasizes the importance of the path of personal growth in order to find inner peace, or "Anshin Ritsumei" in Usui Sensei's own words.

Komyo Reiki is a path of inner growth that begins with the search for harmony with ourselves and with the energy of the Universe, through personal practice.
